Thermal printing
Thermal printing is the most commonly used method for personalizing. With thermal printing the printing band(available in different colours) becomes heated which allows the text to be melted into the toplayer. Because of this, it is very scratch resistant. The text can be printed in various fonts and lettertypes. The printing of full colour passport photos, logos and barcodes belong to the possibilities as well. The card can be printed on both sides in one go. Our printers are also equipped with a magnetic tape stripe encoding unit and an ACG reader/writer for RFID Mifare cards.
