Embossing
With the embossing of the card, the back of the card becomes punched and on the front of the card there will be heighted lettering and/or numbering that can be felt. This form of personalization is most seen with creditcards and hospitalcards. Embossing always takes place in the same font and is available in different kinds of tipping. The tipping is the colour that will be added onto the heightened letters. As a result, the card gets a chic appearance. There should be some consideration concerning the lay-out of the back of the card, the area where the punched text is going to be will become unreadable.
