Cardmailingmachine
In the last year, Cards Unlimited has invested in a reliable and efficient solution by purchasing a very modern cardmailingmachine. The reading out of barcodes, magnetic tape stripes and contactless chips makes the machine multifunctional. Because of the software it is possible to place a maximum of four plastic Cards on one tray, which leads to realizing reduction of postal costs. The line is also equipped with two enclosure stations which makes it possible to add simple additions to the mailpack.
The unique foldingmachine makes it possible to fold letters with the attached – accompanying – cards in a Z-, C- of V-fold and put it into an envelope.
Reliability
After placing the plastic cards in the machine, the information on the plastic cards is read. The control software of the system will consult a database and automatically print the accompanying letter. During the transport of the plastic card, it is provided with a self-sticking label and in the meantime a barcode is printed onto the letter. The barcode is used to make sure that the card and the letter really do belong together (matching). The plastic card will then automatically be attached to the letter and passed on to the machine which puts the card and letter into an envelope.
